摘要

•Blade tip timing (BTT) is used to track the natural frequency shift of the rotor blades for crack propagation monitoring.•Block-accelerated orthogonal least-squares can reconstruct the undersampled BTT signal in the time-frequency domain.•A frequency prediction method is provided to avoid comparing among different blades for crack propagation monitoring.•BTT and strain gauges are used to monitor the crack propagation simultaneously to verify the reliability of BTT.
