Disentangling the impact of a multiple-component project on SDG dimensions: The case of durum wheat value chain development in Oromia (Ethiopia)

•Smallholder farmer’s participation in agricultural value chains positively affects the achievement of SDG2, SDG4 and SDG16.•Integrated interventions combining multiple components are more effective than stand-alone component interventions (i.e. one component only) in achieving SDGs.•Collective action is key to support smallholder farmer’s agricultural productivity growth and improved food intake.
