Interface magnetism in Fe/Alq3 bilayer; interface resolved nuclear resonance scattering studies

•The present work provides an understanding of interfacial magnetism at metal-organic interfaces along with the topological study.•GI-NRS technique, which is made depth selective so as to probe magnetism of the diffused ferromagnetic layer effectively is used for special attention to the metal-organic interface frame, which otherwise difficult to be possible.•In-situ magnetic measurement under UHV condition is adopted to observe evolution of magnetism at metal organic interface.•This study leads us to the better understanding and behavior of the metal organic interface magnetism which is playing a crucial role in organic spin valve devices.
