We present chip-scale lasers with similar to 1Hz fundamental linewidths, similar to 30Hz integral linewidths, and stability better than 2x10(-13) (50ms) enabling energy-efficient, ultra-low residual phase error carrier recovery for DSP-free, high-capacity coherent communications in tomorrow's data center interconnects.
