摘要

•The ingot of low-density steel can be produced with artificial slag usage.•The melting process and steel-slag interactions are crucial for solidification.•K-carbides were inspected at grain boundaries in γ phase when Aluminum increases.•When superheats are high, carbides are tend to decrease in microstructure.
