Postdischarge Remote Patient Monitoring for Children Hospitalized for Failure to Thrive
ACADEMIC PEDIATRICS(2022)
摘要
Patients hospitalized for failure to thrive (FTT) require close weight monitoring after discharge. Nonmedical costs (e.g., transportation, childcare) of frequent clinical visits can negatively impact families in measurable ways, particularly among families with socioeconomic vulnerability.1–3 Patients with FTT may qualify for home nurse visits to monitor weights, but these are a limited resource, especially since the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic.
