摘要
The prospective therapeutic application of genome editing is an impending system to address multiple unmet diseases. However, gene editing systems require sophisticated delivery systems to safeguard the secure and efficacious delivery of the cargo. Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) are one class of widely used delivery systems that can be modified in various ways to increase the delivery efficacy and specificity of the gene-editing components. Various LNPs mediated gene editing strategies have been utilized in preclinical models for modulating genes of malfunction. In this respect, lipid nanoparticles have become an emerging vector for future gene editing therapeutics.
