Effects of translational motion on the Bjerknes forces of bubbles activated by strong acoustic waves

•A theoretical support for small bubbles that dance around a large bubble.•Cavitation bubbles are suppressed by the neighboring large bubbles.•The secondary Bjerknes force is sensitive to the size of the large bubble.
