•Nature-inspired ionic conductive supramolecular hydrogel-based sensors are prepared.•Hydrogen bonds and salting-out effect endow the sensors with high performances.•The sensors possess robust, self-recovery, self-healing and anti-freezing properties.•The sensors exhibit high sensitive, long-term stable and fatigue resistance sensing.•The sensors with self-healing and anti-freezing sensing monitor various motions.
