摘要
•Guanidine-embedded poly(ionic liquid) (PTMG) was synthesized by terpolymerization.•N-doped carbon materials CTMGs were constructed by pyrolysis and activation.•Self-decomposition of PTMG precursor favored the formation of ultra-micropores.•In-situ generated pyrrolic-N sites strengthened the binding force toward CO2.•Desirable CO2 uptake, CO2/N2 selectivity and cyclic performance was attained.
