摘要
•Fe3O4 was favorable for the change of electron flux from ethanol to acetate.•Fe3O4 raised the intracellular NAD(H) concentrations and the ratios of NADH/NAD+.•Electron couples of Fe(III)/Fe(II) were detected in the experiment with Fe3O4.•The “driving force” from extracellular respiration promoted biological H2 production.
