IDF21-0296 Association between skin autofluorescence and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in Hong Kong Chinese with type 2 diabetes
Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice(2022)
摘要
Background: Skin autofluorescence (SAF) is a simple and non-invasive measure of tissue advanced glycation end-products (AGE), biomarkers of diabetes related complications. People with type 2 diabetes (T2D) are at increased risk of having complications and comorbid nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). To date, there is no reported data on the association between SAF and NAFLD in T2D.
