摘要
•In this paper, experimental study and numerical study were performed to study the reduction coefficient of the shear capacity of austenitic long stainless-steel bolted connections.•The key factors and variation rules of the reduction coefficient of the shear capacity were further discussed by parametric analysis.•It was found that the connection length and the value of An/As were the most important parameters on the reduction coefficient of the shear capacity of long bolted connections.•When the connection length was in the range of 15d0-64d0, the reduction coefficient decreased linearly with the increase of connection length, and the more uneven the stress distribution of the long bolted connections was.
