摘要

•A 20 cm concrete slab with attached PEX pipes was tested for hydronic heating.•The heated slab was tested at various inlet temperatures under freezing conditions.•Surface heat flux varied from 27 to 73 W/m2 at the test conditions.•An error-bound based design approach was proposed.
