摘要

•Large-size TSAG with Φ40 mm * L60 mm crystals were successfully grown.•The component segregation of Sc and Al causes the crystal cracking in TSAG.•The component segregation can be weakened by increasing the rotation speed.•The crack eliminated by adjusting temperature field and increasing rotation speed.
