•Dendritic growth from highly undercooled metals is modeled by combining molecular dynamics and phase-field modeling.•Temperature-pressure coexistence line for Titanium is determined.•Temperature dependent solid–liquid interfacial properties and anisotropies are calculated.•Both interface anisotropy and solidification kinetics affect preferred growth direction.
