Assessment of bonding durability of CLT and glulam made from oak and mixed poplar-oak according to bonding pressure and glue type

•Bonding pressure and glue type influence the bonding quality of CLT and glulam.•CLT or glulam made from pure oak delaminated more than the mixed oak-poplar.•The residual shear strength of pure oak specimen is comparable to mixed poplar-oak.•The residual shear strength is a better criterion to evaluate the bonding quality.
