摘要

•Honeycomb-like Ag nanoflakes decorated nanofibers are fabricated for the first time.•Formation of amorphous Ag is due to the synergic effect of UV on chemical reduction of AgNO3 by DMF.•Fast process and in-situ gas formation can be considered to propose the possible mechanism for this unique structure.
