摘要
•oxdc gene from flammulina velutipes was used to generate transgenic tomato plants.•Transgenic T1 lines showed a significant delay in symptom development.•Transgenic T1 lines showed a higher survival percentage to witches’ broom disease.•The P16 line showed a decreased production of H2O2 in the presence of oxalic acid.•Witches’ broom disease progression was reduced by the presence of the oxdc gene.
