摘要

•Comparison between different standards regarding concrete fatigue was discussed.•Alternated compression and tensile stresses highly reduce the concrete fatigue life.•Temperature increase depends on the specimen dimensions and loading frequencies.•Highly significant issues are identified that merit further analysis.
