Temporal evolution of temocillin susceptibility to Enterobacterales in Belgian hospitals, comments on 'Temocillin susceptibility among Enterobacterales strains recovered from blood culture in France'

To evaluate the evolution of susceptibility of Enterobacterales to temocillin, 80,355 deduplicate clinical isolates from four Belgian hospitals were analysed. Based on 2021 EUCAST breakpoint, the susceptibility (current I) to temocillin was high (97.3% in 2011, 96.4% in 2020), without significant evolution of resistance over time.
