•Three-phase particulate flow solver has been constructed by coupling SPH and DEM.•Unresolved phase coupling is adopted between SPH and DEM.•Calculation efficiency is remarkably improved through GPU parallelization.•Some benchmark V&V simulations are carried out on multiphase particulate-flow.•Potential for three-phase flow is demonstrated through particle leveling simulation.
