The distribution and behavior of noble metal fission products (99Mo, 103Ru, 105Rh and 132Te) in molten 2LiF-BeF2 mixtures

摘要
•Noble metal fission products (99Mo, 103Ru, 105Rh and 132Te) settled mainly at the bottom of molten salt as metallic particles, and tend to be deposited more heavier on GH3535 than that on graphite.•The distribution characteristics of noble metal fission products are sensitive to the redox state of molten salt, especially for the 99Mo.•The remarkable deposition of 99Mo provides a new idea for the separation and extraction of medical isotope 99Mo from MSR.
