摘要
•Growth of 2D hBN over large scale (20 cm2 – corresponding to a 2″ wafer) by atmospheric-pressure CVD.•Detailed data on the fluorescent emission from single spots in CVD 2D hBN by multidimensional hyperspectral fluorescence microscopy.•Three main emission peaks (at 538, 582, and 617 nm) with a surface emitter density of ~0.1 emitters/μm2.•Comparative analysis of the fluorescent emission in CVD and liquid-phased produced 2D hBN crystals.•APCVD 2D hBN represents a viable platform to individually addressable single-photon emitters, which could pave to quantum photonic applications.
