Scope of 2D materials for immune response-a review

Emerging 2D materials show excellent properties related to immune responses due to their superior properties compared to traditional materials. Researchers are finding their outstanding compatibility to develop immunity against different diseases. This article reviews different 2D materials for the development of human immunity with their current status. Besides, the working principle of 2D materials toward immune response against different diseases is described briefly. The current status of the applications of 2D materials for immune responses with different perceptions is also discussed. Results found in different journals based on the research are also compared. Finally, potential challenges facing researchers are addressed with future opportunities because of the biomedical properties of emerging 2D materials. This review article will serve as a source of useful information that can benefit researchers in directing their future work.
