摘要
•The electrochemical reduction of CO2 was studied in imidazolium ionic liquids.•The maximum CO Faraday efficiency of 94.6% in BmimCl/MeCN was obtained.•The current density was 72 mA cm−2 at −2.2 V vs Ag/Ag+.•The intermediates CO2·– and CO32– were observed by in situ Raman spectra.
