摘要
•Persistent left superior vena cava (PLSVC) is the most common congenital thoracic venous anomaly.•A PLSVC connects to the right atrium via the coronary sinus without hemodynamic abnormalities.•In the presence of thrombosis in the superior vena cava, right-sided central venous catheterization has a high embolic risk.•With sufficient anatomical knowledge and evaluation, fluoroscopy-guided PLSVC catheterization enables safe, successful vascular access.•Central venous catheterization through a persistent left superior vena cava can be used for liver transplantation with intraoperative monitoring.
