摘要
Chest compression quality is vital in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to optimise the odds of survival. With great interest we read the article by Goulding et al. on the use of a BariBoard™ during CPR in patients with morbid obesity. In brief, the pilot study concluded that the control group achieved better results than the intervention group to improve efficacy of adequate chest compressions (13.4% vs. 4.5%; p = 0.001) and its secondary outcomes including adequate depth (31.3% vs. 15.9%, p < 0.001) and mean rate velocity (63.7% vs.
