Long-Term Air Pollution and Risk of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Mortality in the Women's Health Initiative Cohort
SSRN Electronic Journal(2022)
摘要
•Our study included post-menopausal women from the Women's Health Initiative.•Long-term air pollution and ALS mortality risk examined using two exposure estimates.•PM2.5 and PM10 showed little ALS death risk for earlier or later exposure periods.•Increased ORs for all three time periods in ALS death risk for PM10-2.5 (coarse).•Longer latencies of air pollution measures may be important to study in ALS.
