Investigating the discrimination of linear and nonlinear effective connectivity patterns of EEG signals in children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Typically Developing children

摘要
•Effective connectivity patterns were assessed for ADHD and TD children.•Effective connectivity was computed from EEG recorded during a visual attention task.•Linear and nonlinear connectivity was computed with dDTF and nCREANN methods.•ADHD subjects revealed various abnormalities in comparison with TD individuals.•A classification accuracy (99%) was achieved using effective connectivity measures.
