Three-Layer Capacity Allocation Optimization Strategy of Multi-Power Complementary System Considering Sending-Out Transmission

With the strategy of energy saving and emission reduction in China, renewable energy resources with no pollution, low cost, and high efficiency are developed and utilized on a large scale. Due to the inverse distribution of renewable energy resources and load centers, the bundling of multiple types of power sources for outward transmission has become an inevitable trend in current research. To address the problems of low transmission channel utilization and serious wind and solar abandonment in bundled transmission, this paper adopts a multi-power complementary generation including wind-solar-hydrothermal-storage power to smooth the output power curve, and proposes a three-layer optimal configuration method for multi-power complementary system considering the optimization of sending-out transmission capacity. The proposed strategy utilizes an integrated planning and operation configuration model to plan the installed capacity of the multi-power complementary power sources while optimizing the sending-out transmission capacity and the operating power of the generating units at each moment, which can improve the renewable energy consumption rate and the utilization rate of the transmission channel and maximize the economic benefits under the whole situation. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
