Characteristic Analysis of Overvoltage in Offshore Wind Power Transmission System through HVAC Submarine Cable

摘要
With the development of offshore wind power technology, more and more high voltage alternating current (HVAC) submarine cable has been used to transmit offshore wind power. Due to the higher charging power of submarine cable than overhead line, safe and stable operation of the transmission system and even the receiving power grid are being threatened as a common phenomenon. Based on the deduced system model of offshore wind power system transmitted by HVAC submarine cable, power frequency overvoltage characteristics of system under different operating conditions are analyzed by simulation, which can provide a research basis for the optimal allocation of reactive power in the transmission system to improve the safety and stability of offshore wind power integration.
