摘要

•Electrospun PVC-nickel phthalocyanine nanofiber were deposited on interdigitated electrodes.•A higher conductometric response to methanol, compared to acetone and ethanol was obtained.•The methanol sensor presents a LOD of 15 ppm and a response time of 13 s.•The sensor was applied for detection of methanol in rubbing alcohol.
