Launch scheme and control law design of small tube launched UAV

As we have requirement for UAV being on standby to perform tasks in time, with respect to the scenario of launching UAV on the sea surface, we plan to launch the folded UAV from the floating tube to a certain height, and to control the attitude of UAV in the launching process. The three core points of the project are studied: the design of launch scheme, the attitude control during the launch process and the design optimization of the launch window. According to the launch scheme, the combination of the pneumatic ejection and booster rockets are selected. In the launching process, the UAV is at low altitude and low speed, to achieve attitude control in a short time, it is necessary to design the optimal control method and the differential thrust control law is completed. In addition, due to the influence of environment, in order to improve the success rate of launch, it is necessary to consider the movement of waves and choose the appropriate time to launch by predicting the slope of wave in a short time. The simulation results show that the designed UAV launch control system can successfully boost the UAV to a certain height from the sea surface, and realize the stable flight of the UAV.
