Research on the Normal Damping of Machine Joints

Abstract In order to master the regularity of the normal damping of machine joints, a new experimental research setup and a testing system are designed, the greatest characteristic of which is that the normal dynamic relative displacement of machine joints is measured with eddy-current displacement sensors directly. Having analyzed the experimental data, some important conclusions are given out.
