摘要
Abstract. It has now been two years since the discovery of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19. Once the infection began to spread around the world, it became clear that the various tests is needed. Despite the fact that outdoor vaccination is going, tests to control COVID-19 are still relevant. There are currently three types of the most popular diagnostic tests: polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, rapid antigen tests, and antibody tests. Latest details on disease immunity. While PCR tests are most often accurate cases of infecting, they require laboratory equipment and reagents, and their results are not immediately known. Rapid antigen tests give the fastest results, their mechanism is simple and available for use at home, which does not exclude a false negative result, as well as difficulties in its consumption. In turn, antibody tests affect a more detailed study of the course of the disease, understand whether a person was infected in the case of an asymptomatic course of the disease, and assess herd immunity. Until now, disputes have been identified about their identification, antibodies tend to disappear sometime after the disease, respectively, the period of time when you can get a qualitative conclusion on the level of antibodies is rather small. This study is devoted to a detailed review of the tests, considering the cases of each of the above methods for diagnosing a new coronavirus infection. Description of their advantages and disadvantages also given.
