摘要
To the Editor: Teledermatology offers advantages, including enabling consultations in remote areas, frequent patient monitoring, and information exchange between specialists.1 Being inexpensive and fast contributes to its growing use.2 The shortcomings include the inability to perform physical examinations and ancillary tests. Legal aspects should be carefully addressed.1 Our aim was to compare the diagnoses based on digital images with those based on traditional physical examinations. We conducted a prospective, open-label, comparative trial at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center between November 2018 and July 2020.
