摘要

•Moderate PAA pre-oxidation can highly improve the UF flux during algae-laden water.•Unfavorable UF performance obtained with US/PAA pretreatment.•UV/PAA with •OH generation can efficiently degrade odors.•EOM degradation was the dominant mechanism for fouling mitigation.•Cell rupture rather than IOM release was the primary negative factor for the filtration.
