摘要
•Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) has a complex pathogenesis.•Excess epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) may promote HFpEF via unknown mechanisms.•The proteome of EAT from HFpEF patients was examined.•EAT proteins (CD36, POSTN, TRAP1, etc.) were differentially expressed in HFpEF.•Targeting of EAT proteins could be a new therapeutic approach for HFpEF.
