Edge-centric analysis of stroke patients: An alternative approach for biomarkers of lesion recovery

•We applied an edge-centric approach to a longitudinal stroke patient dataset.•Highest values of co-fluctuation were associated with stroke severity.•Normalized entropy increased across patient recovery time.•We demonstrate a novel direction for mapping the brain in a clinical setting.
