Cross-areal Scheduling Strategy of Electric Taxi Clusters

Compared with other electric vehicles, electric taxis charge more frequently due to public service. The charging behavior and mobility characteristics of electric taxi clusters will make them one of the flexible resources available for power grid operation and scheduling, and bring more scheduling possibilities. The behavior characteristics of the electric taxis is analyzed based on the empty-loading ratio, and the traffic energy system model considering the interaction of vehicle, road, and power grid is established to fully reflect the potential of the interaction between the electric taxis and power grid. Considering the mobile characteristics of electric taxis and the participation of renewable energy a cross-areal scheduling strategy of electric taxi clusters is proposed to minimize the areal net load fluctuation of power grid. The example results show that the optimal scheduling method can absorb renewable energy, stabilize load fluctuations, and effectively alleviate the traffic pressure caused by charging, which verifies the effectiveness of the model and strategy.
