Hippocampal F3/Contactin plays a role in chronic stress-induced depressive-like effects and the antidepressant actions of vortioxetine in mice

摘要
•Stress from CRS and CSDS down-regulated the hippocampal F3/Contactin expression, while vortioxetine administration reversed these changes.•Over-expression of hippocampal F3/Contactin induced antidepressant-like effects in both the CRS and CSDS models of depression.•Knockdown of hippocampal F3/Contactin abolished the antidepressant actions of vortioxetine in the CRS and CSDS models.
