摘要

•Novel Z-scheme Ag3PO4/TpPa-1-COF heterojunction was successfully constructed.•Ag3PO4/TpPa-1-COF showed excellent photocatalytic activity for pesticide pymetrozine.•Toxicity evaluation for photocatalytic degradation pesticide pymetrozine was studied.•Possible photocatalytic degradation pathway of pymetrozine was predicated.•Enhancing mechanism of Ag3PO4/TpPa-1-COF for degradation of pymetrozine was proposed.
