Bioassay-guided isolation of antifungal cyclopeptides from the deep-sea-derived fungus Simplicillium obclavatum EIODSF 020

•Two new and three known cyclopeptides were isolated from the fungus Simplicillium obclavatum by bioassay-guided isolation.•Their absolute configurations were determined by Marfey’s methods.•All compounds showed significant antifungal activity against phytopathogens.•The deep-sea-derived fungus S. obclavatum is a new source for developing natural fungicides.
