An Improved Method to Predict Hysteresis and Loss Characteristics of Grain Oriented Silicon Steel Sheet Under AC-DC Hybrid Excitation

At the foundation of unification of loss separation and field separation, we proposed an improved method to predict loss characteristics of grain oriented silicon steel sheet(GO). Aiming to identify the Preisach model which can help to solve the static hysteresis loss, two branches of Everett functions are used. Additionally, we chose an improved method to calculate excess loss, which effectively improves the precision of the dynamic hysteresis model. With the help of the magnetic property measurement system, the losses of GO under several different conditions are measured respectively. We extract the parameters from the results above to construct the function of V-0 which is relevant to excess loss, and then the expression of excess loss and the dynamic hysteresis model of GO is constructed. The consistent of the dynamic hysteresis loops between the measured and the predicted shows the effectiveness and generality of the proposed model.
