Circuit-Based Design and Optimization for Broadband Terahertz Metasurfaces

摘要
This paper presents a semi-analytical approach incorporating network analysis and genetic algorithm to facilitate the design and optimization of broadband transmissive metasurfaces. For verification, three broadband metasurface-based devices are rigorously designed following the optimal circuit parameters provided by the approach. The presented broadband approach can be employed to configure diverse metasurfaces that locally alter the magnitude, phase, and polarization states of terahertz waves so to support wideband terahertz applications.
