•Igneous rocks in Eastern Myanmar have ages mainly clustered at 360–355 Ma, 266–247 Ma, and 220–210 Ma.•Comparable igneous rocks are also known in Central Tibet, SW Yunnan, and Southeast Asia.•The magmatic events provide constraints on the Paleo-Tethys evolution from subduction to collision.
