National Implementation of Simulator Training Improves Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumours in Patients

The performance of transurethral resection of bladder tumour by novices in the operating theatre improved after completion of a proficiency-based training programme on a virtual reality simulator. Simulator training had no significant effect on the performance of more experienced surgeons.
