摘要

•Aspen plus was used to simulate the co-gasification of biomass and plastics (PE & PP).•Simulation model was validated against experimental data.•Increase in plastic content in feedstock lead to higher H2 concentration.•Synergistic effects were observed from co-gasification of biomass and plastics.
