摘要
Purpose: Meta-analyses have reported a longitudinal association between baseline varus thrust presence (a rapid lateral knee movement upon heel contact), increased peak knee adduction moment (KAM) (a surrogate for medial knee load during gait), and medial knee osteoarthritis (OA) progression. Addressing these biomechanical variables may be important therapeutic targets, however, their relationship with pain is unclear. Our primary aim was to determine the relationship between knee biomechanics during gait and pain in people with knee OA.
